Pre-work for Session 4
In preparation for the next workshop, please design a new assessment! In particular, try to design an accessible and asynchronous assessment which you believe would be suitable for online learning. Be ambitious! Do your best to come up with an assessment that is outside of the box (i.e., not one that you've experienced before as an instructor or student).
Also, continue work on what we have dubbed your "graphic organizer," that is, the mindmap of your learning objectives you began with the pre-work for session 3. Continue to add learning objectives as you devise them, but now add the assessments you are considering, and connect them to the objectives they assess. For example, this might be what a portion of your mapped-out learning objectives might look like, and then this might be what those learning objectives might look like with assessments mapped to them. By all means, feel free to be more creative with your assessments than this example suggests.
Don't spend more than 30 minutes on the pre-work, and submit a description of your ambitious online assessment and a picture of the current process of your graphic organizer to What_Yo.2jxzzmpi5efvp6as@u.box.com
Name your file according to this convention: Lastname_Firstname_Session 4
