via Department of Pharmacy Practice:
The University of Illinois Chicago Department of Pharmacy Practice - CEDAR lab announces an undergraduate research opportunity. The student will be responsible for data collection and specimen processing for a clinical study which assesses the etiology of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS).
Duties:
- Prepare IRB documentation
- Conduct blood draws and proce ss blood samples
- Recruit and instruct research subjects to specific study objectives
- Assess eligibility criteria
- Monitor and maintain inventories of equipment and supplies within budget parameters
- Interact with study personnel from UIC Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) to ensure optimal study execution
Schedule:
8am - 11am Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
Occasional Saturday or Sunday mornings (8 AM to 10 AM) to conduct blood draws
