New Course: HON 200 - Working Toward Authenticity
Date/Time: Thursdays, 10:00 - 10:50 AM, On Campus
Inspired by the book Authentic Excellence: Flourishing and Resilience in a Relentless World, this course will explore how a "Fear-Based Model of Excellence” is unsustainable and impacts students’ ability to thrive and get the most out of their college experience. Students will learn how to identify and prioritize their values, and we will engage in exercises to move toward a more authentic and satisfying lifestyle. The course is a reflection-based course, supplemented with guided meditation. Attendance and participation are mandatory. Students may take only one Honors Lecture for Honors Activity credit.
