All UIC students are encouraged to sign up to volunteer at a blood drive occurring on Monday, November 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Student Center East (room 301)! This will be hosted by UIC student organizations Autoimmune Action & Advocacy, Colleges Against Cancer, Humanity First, and the Student Nurses Association.
In light of Chicago's current blood shortage, we hope to navigate donors through the blood donation process and add as many people to the national stem cell registry list as possible in collaboration with the non-profit Be The Match!
Training will be provided for volunteers at the site.
