Hilda López-Arce Scholarship- For Latinx Undergraduate Students at the University of Illinois at Chicago
Each year the Hilda López-Arce Scholarship Selection Committee, in conjunction with the Chancellor’s Committee on the Status of Latinos and the Latina Network, awards two $500 scholarships to Latinx students who exhibit leadership qualities and who have made contributions to the Latinx community.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a UIC undergraduate Latina/o/x student enrolled in the Spring 2021 and Fall 2021 semesters
- Must be in good academic standing
- Cumulative Grade Point Average must be equal to or higher than 3.0 with a minimum of 12 credit hours earned at UIC
- Must demonstrate active involvement in the Latina/o/x community on or off the UIC campus
- This scholarship is open to UIC undocumented students (with or without DACA)
