In light of summer study abroad travels being cancelled, the Honors College is offering scholarships for virtual international experiences during summer 2021. Scholarships for traditional study abroad during the Fall 2021 semester are also available. The deadline for either scholarship is April 15th and both applications can be found via SnAP (uic.academicworks.com).
Honors College Scholarship for Virtual Global Experiences
The UIC Honors College Scholarships for Virtual Global Experiences are available awards ranging from $500 to $750 for virtual global programs during summer 2021.
Eligibility:
• Have applied to a virtual global program endorsed by the UIC campus;
• A member in good standing with the UIC Honors College;
• A minimum UIC cumulative GPA of 3.40 upon application;
• Completed SnAP General Application (including responses to both short-answer questions); and
• Completed opportunity-specific application.
All scholarship recipients are expected to earn Honors Units for the experience.

The UIC Honors College Scholarships for Study Abroad are available in awards ranging from $500 to $2,500 for study abroad programs during the summer, fall, and spring semesters. This application is for students who plan to be abroad in fall 2021 only. For spring 2022, please do apply in the fall 2021 semester.

• Have applied to a study abroad program endorsed by the UIC campus;
• A member in good standing with the UIC Honors College;
• A minimum UIC cumulative GPA of 3.40 upon application;
• Completed SnAP General Application (including responses to both short-answer questions); and
• Completed opportunity-specific application.
