DHD 420: Mental Health, Asian Americans & Community Engagement
In partnership with Chicago’s Asian American communities and using community-engagement methodologies, this course takes an interdisciplinary approach to taboo-related mental health issues facing Asian Americans. Students will be able to talk with, question, and learn from the instructor and community activists about stigma, lived mental health experiences, disparity issues, and micro and macro-level perspectives.
Together we will be working towards creating awareness for mental health through storytelling and collecting. Enroll Today!
