Happening now through friday! UIC Impact & Research Week 2021! Join your UIC Honors College, UIC Impact, L@s GANAS, and recipients of the Chancellor’s Undergraduate Research Award (CURA) peers for a week like none other!
Each day Monday through Friday at 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 3pm the Honors College will host up to 3 concurrent research presentation sessions in which your peers will present their unique contributions to various research endeavors, as well as the results of their own research work.
In addition, Monday through Thursday next week, L@s GANAS will host a series of workshops, which are open to the entire UIC Community and for which registration is still active, at 4pm. Following that, at 5:30pm Monday through Thursday, L@s GANAS will also host its own series of student research panels celebrating and spotlighting the work of UIC’s L@s GANAS students.
Lastly, UIC Impact has collaborated with the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs & Academic Programs to offer a series of student research presentations for Impact/CURA students from 10am-3pm on Weds. 4/7.
For a list of only Honors College student presentations, abstracts, and the corresponding Zoom information through which you can join to watch as an audience member, please visit the IRW Honors College Student Presentation Sessions Program page.
For a complete list of all events and sessions throughout the week, including those hosted by L@s GANAS & Impact/CURA, please visit the UIC Impact & Research Week 2021 website, which will also feature a virtual “event map.”
This is a great opportunity not only to support the incredible work of your peers but also a chance to learn what a top-tier research project looks like for those who are beginning to plan their capstone, as well as an avenue through which to learn what questions UIC’s top undergraduate researchers are asking.
We hope you will join us in celebrating and learning from the work of your classmates!
