Who: The INERTIA study is a patient-oriented exercise intervention study that aims to evaluate the role of muscle strength in blood pressure control and other heart disease risk factors in older adults. Dr. Deepika Laddu, in the Department of Physical Therapy is the PI of the INERTIA study.
What: We are looking for reliable, organized, and self-motivated individuals to volunteer their time and learn more about health promotion through lifestyle and behavior modification, and the cardiovascular responses to rehabilitation and exercises.
All undergraduate applicants will be considered, but preference will be towards those who submit applications earlier and who have experience in human subject’s research.
When: Available to start immediately
