UIC has a new partnership with Barcelona SAE, a boutique study abroad partner that specializes in study abroad in Barcelona. They are experts in helping students intentionally immerse themselves in Barcelona, a major metropolitan city and business hub. Barcelona has a rich cultural diversity and endless opportunities to explore history, architecture, and art.
Barcelona SAE offers coursework at both their study center and at local universities. Their team is committed to a low staff/faculty to student ratio and helping you find the program that is right for you! Diversity and inclusion practices are at the heart of all of their programming.
The CEO of Barcelona SAE will be coming to campus to share more about their study and internship programs. Plus, he is a UIC alumni himself!

Did you know that UIC Chancellor Reyes is a graduate of Tec de Monterrey?
You can study there too!
Join us for our annual Tec de Monterrey Showcase on November 15th, 12:30pm - 1:30pm at go.uic.edu/TecShowcase. We will be joined by international students from Tec de Monterrey who are studying and researching at UIC, our partners from Tec de Monterrey, and our visiting faculty in the College of Business from Tec de Monterrey, Juan José Cabrera.
Tec de Monterrey offers a wide variety of courses taught in English and Spanish in engineering, business, and liberal arts. On Exchange programs, UIC students pay UIC tuition and fees, yet attend another global institution like Tec de Monterrey for a semester, academic year, or summer.

During the session, there was also a discussion about SAO’s many scholarship opportunities, including the Gilman International Scholarship – if you receive a Pell grant, you are eligible to apply for the Gilman and the Study Abroad Office can help you!
