Students: Register to present at UIC Undergraduate Research Forum 2022
The Office of Undergraduate Research and the Honors College are pleased to announce that presenter registration for the UIC Undergraduate Research Forum 2022 (URF) is now open. The URF takes place this year at Dorin Forum on April 6, 2022.
Any UIC undergraduate may register to share an analytical, creative or applied research project with an audience of peers and volunteer faculty, staff, graduate student and alumni judges. This is an excellent venue for Honors College students to fulfill the Capstone presentation requirement. Presenters are eligible for awards sponsored by the Honors College and other units on campus.
Students may choose the format that is best for them: poster, oral or creative presentation. Projects are ordinarily completed under the supervision of UIC faculty or staff. If you have questions about eligibility or event details, please email urf@uic.edu.
Registration deadline: Tuesday, March 22, 2022
Undergraduate students: Register to present at https://go.uic.edu/URF22StudentRegistration.

Student Volunteer registration
On April 6, 2022, the Office Undergraduate Research, the Honors College, and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research will host the UIC Undergraduate Research Forum (URF) at the UIC Dorin Forum (725 W. Roosevelt Rd.).
This important campus-wide event, sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR), the Honors College, and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, showcases undergraduate student research covering a broad range of scholarship across a variety of disciplines.
The URF planning team is calling for undergraduate student volunteers, who are not registered to present at the forum, to support this massive endeavor. Volunteers will assist with various duties at URF before and during the event, including space setup, assisting student presenters, UIC judges, and more!
Volunteering at URF is a chance way to support your peers, but more than that- for those who have yet to begin work on the Capstone- it is also a chance to gain a firsthand understanding all that the Capstone entails! We hope you will consider volunteering.
Volunteer registration for URF will be open through 5pm, March 18, 2022.
Click here to sign up and you will be contacted after 3/18 with information about your volunteer assignment.
Any questions or concerns should be directed to urf@uic.edu
