HON 101 Teaching Assistant Position Description:
The Honors College is providing an opportunity for motivated emerging leaders to become HON 101 Teaching Assistants and serve as mentors in the fall of their sophomore or junior year. Upon acceptance into the program, prospective TAs will register for HON 200 and attend regular class meetings during Spring 2022 to help prepare them for their role. They will then be TAs the following fall (Fall 2022) semester. Teaching Assistants will receive 2 Honors Units for this two-semester activity (1 for successful completion of HON 200 in Spring and 1 for being a TA for HON 101 in the Fall).

Requirements:
This two-semester sequence provides an opportunity for students to become mentors in their sophomore/junior year and continue their involvement with the Honors College. Teaching Assistants will attend regular meetings in the spring semester and will act as TAs for an HON 101 section in the fall semester. HON 200 will meet regularly at 4:00pm-4:50pm on Mondays (in-person) throughout the Spring 2022 semester.
