A to Z Pediatric and Youth Healthcare is looking for a new Medical Assistant!
There are two locations: one in Brookfield, IL, and one in Addison, IL.
The position consists of taking patient vitals, as well as administering hearing, hemoglobin, and other lab tests, recording data in the medical records system, preparing rooms, handling, preparing, and assisting with administering vaccines, occasionally filling out forms/reports, as well as assisting the attending medical provider in anything they may need. Speaking Spanish is a plus but not required.
Although experience would be a plus, the MD physician in charge of the clinic is willing to train somebody with no experience, so long as you are hard-working and dedicated in pursuing a medical career. It's typically pretty busy and fast-paced.
This is an amazing opportunity for anyone pre-med whether you're still in undergrad or doing a gap year! Finding quality clinical experience has been extremely difficult since COVID so this will provide an opportunity to learn, serve the community, and help set up for a successful career in healthcare.
