Dear Honors College Student Researchers:
On Friday, July 20th, the UIC Office of Undergraduate Research will be welcoming 35 new first-year and transfer students to come to campus for a one-day workshop around "Research, Inquiry and Discovery at UIC." We need YOUR help to make the event a success.
As you know, students want to hear from students and they feel much more comfortable meeting faculty when the introduction comes from a peer.
If you would be interested in coming to our event any time during the day on July 20th to either chat with new students or to take them to your research site or faculty member's office to learn about what students like yourself do, please fill out this brief volunteer registration form. We will get back to you in mid-June to confirm and start planning! This would be a great way to support the growth of the UIC student research community.
