Growing Up Chicago is a collection of stories written by Chicago authors about their experiences growing up here in the city and has been co-edited with the Honors College's very own Lauren DeJulio Bell - Honors Instructor, Academic Advisor, and Program Specialist (Curriculum Development). Lauren has been hard at work with two UIC colleagues (Roxanne Pilat and Dave Schaafsma) to co-edit the book over the last several years 📚📖.
We are happy to announce the book is officially released!
There will be another release event coming up if you'd like to join us; some of the authors will be there and we'll do a book signing after both events:
