The Institute for Health Research and Policy, Bloomberg research project has an exciting opportunity for a part time undergraduate Accounting Assistant to assist with a variety of accounting-related responsibilities.
Duties include: assist with processing new university vendors and grantees; ensure all documents submitted for contracts are in order according to supervisor’s guidance; track invoice payment status, grantee and vendor IDs/contracts/amendments; organize supporting documents and log information into appropriate tracking spreadsheets; check and route invoices from grantee/vendor for approval and submit for processing; process P-Card, T-Card and travel reimbursements through campus systems; assist with expense report reconciliations for preparation of project financial reports; monitor project budget and expenses and alert project leaders for possible over/underspending; vigilant review of campus policies to ensure compliance with University standards; monitor cell phone bills for project staff; provide office logistics (request equipment for the conference room, print office and cubicle name plates, check mailboxes, etc.); other administrative tasks as instructed.
