Opportunity for native Spanish-speaking students to improve Northwestern’s Medical Spanish curriculum! Great networking and resume building volunteer opportunity for native Spanish-speaking pre-health students.
- Looking for 4-8 native Spanish-speaking student volunteers
- Student volunteers needed to assist in improving Northwestern’s Medical Spanish curriculum for primary care residents
- Volunteers needed during evaluation of Northwestern residents on their ability to conduct a medical interview in Spanish
- Student volunteers will be asked to act as a Spanish speaking patient and answer patient interview questions
- Student volunteers will be given a template of what to say in Spanish during the interview
- Student volunteers will be asked for feedback on their interactions with the resident
- Feedback will be used to improve the current Medical Spanish curriculum
