Announcing the Newberry Library Undergraduate Seminar for spring 2020! (Please see the attached brochure.)
The theme will be Shakespeare's Afterlives: Literature, Philosophy, Politics, and the Visual Arts, 1623-2020.The seminar meets twice a week TR 2-5 pm; students have an opportunity to learn about archival work, including maps and images, from the Newberry staff and conduct an independent research project. The 6 credit hours from LAS 495 can be applied to your major, with advisor discretion. LAS students receive $1250 as a stipend to cover transportation, books, etc.
