Joins us in the Caribbean this summer (2020)! The UIC Offices of Nursing and Study Abroad invite you to take NUEL 394/594: DISASTER PREPAREDNESS AND GLOBAL HEALTH IN THE CARIBBEAN (May 19-June 7, 2020).
As described by the program, "In this three credit study abroad course, you will explore concepts in global health and disaster preparedness, and participate in field-based disaster preparedness projects in collaboration with local agencies in the twin island nation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Areas of focus include disaster preparedness, mass casualty triage, community vulnerability and resilience, comparative health care systems, Caribbean culture, and public health."
