Global Health Course Offering--Summer 2020
Disaster Preparedness and Global Health in the Caribbean
St. Kitts and Nevis
Final Deadline to Apply: March 13, 2020
Course Dates: May 19 - June 07, 2020
Open to Undergraduate and Graduate Students--All Majors
In this three credit study abroad course, students will explore concepts in global health and disaster preparedness, and participate in field-based disaster preparedness projects in collaboration with local agencies in the twin island nation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Areas of focus include: disaster preparedness; community vulnerability and resilience; global health care systems; Caribbean culture; and public health.
