Public Health (PUBH) Summer Offerings
We wanted to make you aware that we are offering both PUBH 110: Public Health and Global Societies and PUBH 120: Public Health and the Study of Disease and Epidemics in an online format during the 8-week summer session. These two general education courses have not been offered during the summer previously. Please share with any students who may be interested in exploring the arena of public health and earning general education credit at the same time!
PUBH 110-Public Health and Global Societies. Credit Hours: 3
Introduces students to global public health through an exploration of health challenges from the local population to global society perspectives.

PUBH 120-Public Health and the Study of Disease and Epidemics. Credit Hours: 3
Introduces basic principles surrounding the distribution of disease and epidemics in human populations. Through lectures and field exercises, students will learn fundamentals of epidemiology, the basic science of public health.
