The Center for Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment (CREA) is delighted to announce that Dr. Daniel Solorzano will deliver the closing keynote address on October 2, 2020, at the CREA 6th International Conference 2020 in Chicago, Illinois (September 30-October 2).
Dr. Solorzano is a Professor of Social Science and Comparative Education and Chicana and Chicano Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as well as the Inaugural Director of the Center for Critical Race Studies in Education. His teaching and research interests include critical race theory in education; racial microaggressions; racial microaffirmations; and critical race spatial analysis. Dr. Solorzano is the recipient of numerous distinguished awards and was recently elected as a member of the prestigious National Academy of Education.
