Hi! I'm subleasing my room in a 4 bed 2 bath apartment on Second and Armory. It has an in-unit washer and dryer. Rent is $650 (utilities included), but to be honest I am willing to negotiate a lot. I end finals like December 18th so you can move in any point after that and I can cover December rent. It goes until end of May.
Pros:
- In unit washer and dryer
- Super negotiable rent
- We have a cute space with a spiral staircase, a pretty decent tv in the living room and nice furniture. (also comes with full sized bed) also BALCONY
- you get two closets just for you (one inside the room and one out, both decently sized).
- Its right by a bus stop for 22, 220, and 13. Also so incredibly close to the arc and like 10 minutes away from campus.
- There are 5 apartments for each floor and only two floors in the building. We're friendly/friends with almost everyone on our floor, its a pretty nice environment!
- 3/4 rooms are occupied by nice girls so far
- multiple options for parking at different price points
- sometimes our landlord gives us free food
Cons
- you have to share a bathroom
- you have to live with people you don't know.... but maybe thats the perfect environment for making new friends!
- sometimes the frats are loud but its never bothered me that much
Overall I really enjoy living here, definitely on more of the homey side its not like HERE or anything but whenever we host events people love our apartment. Also if you play the drums maybe we can work out a deal (I've currently got my drums in the apartment).
