I am looking to sublet my apartment for this upcoming summer from late May to late August. I am asking for $500 a month, which includes rent and parking. Utilities and internet/cable are not included.
The apartment is located at 701 West Elm Street in Urbana. It is unit 1, which is on the first floor facing north. The apartment is spacious, has central A/C (with a new digital thermostat), off-street parking, and a large balcony. There is no dishwasher, which has not been a problem for my roommate and myself. There is no in-house washer/dryer, but the washing room is located on the first floor about 20ft. away from the apartment door and either a wash or dry is 75cents (the washer/dryer units are also relatively new, have a large capacity, and work well).
The area itself is a great place to live for the summer. It is relatively quite if you are taking summer classes and need to get work done, while the unit is located near two main bus routes that can get you just about anywhere around campus and both downtowns.
