Hello,
If I can, I would love to avoid paying for two places, one of which I am not using, and also ensure I find the best-fit replacement for my flatmate. I also believe that there are a ton of people looking for housing from study abroad programs and co-ops.
My name is Joon, and I am a Senior (22 y.o.) studying Mechanical Engineering here at U of I, and I am subleasing because of a 9-month internship starting in January.
My flatmate Jason is also a Mechanical Engineering student (Junior, 20); he is very sweet and clean, and also very sociable as he is the President of the gymnastics club here. We met through our major and dorm, and got close through sports and our somewhat extroverted personalities.
Anyhow, on with the specifications, then!
-> 203 S. 4th St.
-> Two bedroom (Bedroom #2, blueprint can be found either here or here).
-> 525 a month.
-> One block from County Market.
-> Washer and dryer in-unit.
-> Secure, Free, & Personal WiFi.
-> Ridiculously spacious (>1 set of outlets on every wall), with big closet.
-> Lots of large windows, and balcony, attached to our living-room. Another balcony outside our main-door.
-> There are two separate LCD and bulb ceiling-lights in the living-room, controlled by two separate knobs, for your convenience.
-> Garage and street parking is available.
-> Maintenance and landlord are very kind and live right across the street.
[The maintenance people actually fixed our bathroom electricity within an hour of reporting on a late Friday afternoon, and replaced a light-bulb in our living-room while they were at it. This was, of course, all for free and to our surprise.]
-> Teal, Yellow, Red, and Brown MTD Buses run 50 ft from complex (Fourth & White), which is awesome.
-> Really quiet and a nice, clean place.
-> I will leave you and my flatmate all my silverware, cooking utensils, cups/plates, pots/pans, etc.

Regards,
Joon Jo
