We are looking for two people to take over the lease for our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment. We live in Urbana, right on the border with Champaign. The nearest bus stop is just a 2-minute walk away. We are in a quiet neighborhood in the historic part of Urbana, about a 10-minute walk from the Main Quad.
We are exchange students who rented the apartment for a full year and are now looking for someone to take over the lease starting in January 2026. We have two individual leases which run until August 1, 2026.
Our apartment is fully furnished. Rent is $840 per person per month. We have equipped the apartment with all the essentials - dishes, shower curtain, towels, etc. - and would be happy to sell these items to the new tenants for a reasonable price, which can be discussed.
