Harvest House Co-op is a vegetarian (vegan-friendly) cooperative house located just east of campus in Urbana. We are 14 people living together who pool our resources and divide our labor to maximize efficiency and create a strong sense of community.

The available room is located on the third floor. It comes fully furnished with a double bed (twin bed is available for swap if desired), dresser, plastic storage bins, desk, bookshelf, and window table. You will share a bathroom with the other 2 housemates on the third floor. You will have access to shared spaces in the house including: recently renovated kitchen, the dining room, living room, hallways, and basement. Washer/dryer free to use in basement. You will have weekly cooking, cleaning, and organizational duties, and attend a weekly house meeting to discuss how to best run the house. Co-op living is one of the most affordable and efficient ways to live!
Rent $287/mo plus an additional $200/mo for fixed rate utilities and food. The food check covers all of your food needs - breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. We decide what food to buy as a house at weekly meetings, with an emphasis on vegan-friendly, organic, local, and healthy options.Your sublease will go through May 2016 (or longer, if desired).
