My name is Thijs van het Hooft, I’m an exchange student from the Netherlands. In August I start studying for a fall semester. I’m 21 years old and I’m looking for a nice room to live during my stay. I prefer some (student)roommates as that is more fun than living alone. Here in Holland I live in a studenthouse with 15 roommates which is always good fun. I’m a very social, outgoing person. I love to snowboard, sail, travel(after high school I spent 8 months travelling around the world) and go to open air festivals.
Of course my study is important for me and my study comes first, but I like to do fun things in my free time. I’m studying civil engineering in Holland and will do my minor in engineering at UIUC.
