Thanks for the comment and question. The filters actually don't have to be replaced. There is a flaw in the system and the lights go to red much sooner than needed. The manufacturer has actually removed the light system from new models because of this issue. All the filter lights have now been reset (as of Monday, March 17). We put the stickers on to cover up the malfunctioning light system. Also, Champaign-Urbana water is some of the best in the nation, and it actually doesn't even need to be filtered. That is a good thing :).
