Web Services has released a new enhancement for sending emails of posts, events, and items from the Blog, Calendar, and List Builder. All emails will now be sent from Email+ as sending emails directly from the Blog, Calendar, and List Builder is now longer supported. Advantages of the new email process include:
- Adding additional content to the Blog, Calendar, and List Builder information being sent
- Combining content into one email
- Creating email templates (in Email+) to reuse
- Take advantage of Email+ reporting
- Take advantage of Email+ subscribe/unsubscribe options
- Take advantage of all other Email+ functionality
Instructions
- Manage your Blog, Calendar, or List Builder
- On the main list screen click the "export" checkboxes for any content you would like to email (items must be published)
- Click the "Export" button at the top right of the screen
- Copy the html code that is presented
- Go to Email+ and create a new Wizard email
- Go to the Message tab and insert a new "content" block
- Click the "source code" button (bottom right in the editor)
- Paste the html code copied in step 4 and close the source window
- Click save and complete the rest of the email as usual
