Web Services made enhancements today to the Form and Survey Builder and Campus Directory.
The Form and Survey Builder was enhanced for International Programs and Studies. A person had an issue when they pasted content from Microsoft Word into a question. MS Word had embedded HTML within the content that caused the question not to display properly in IE. To fix this issue we added code to scan for this embedded HTML code generated by MS Word. If we find the code we then display a warning message and explain to the user how to remove it.
The Profile Editor within the Campus Directory was modified for the CCOs to allow additional information to be added for people entered on the staff/faculty tab. Users can now add people to listings that are not currently staff or faculty. This includes retirees, volunteers, etc. We also added a field for email addresses and roles. If the role field is left blank, when entering a current employee, then we grab their first two roles.
