On Monday, October 18th, Web Services at Public Affairs, will deploy new enhancements to the Calendar.
Importing and exporting of iCal events has been reworked to deal with issues related to Outlook 2007 and 2010.
On the General tab under "Create/edit" there will be an option to turn on and off the public submission of events. Currently we provide a URL that allows events to be submitted to a calendar for approval by a manager. This new feature will allow us to flag which calendars desire to use this feature. Currently the Calendar is undergoing a complete rework. One of the new enhancements will be to advertise how to publicly submit events to a calendar. By adding this field we will be able to advertise only those calendars that want events to be submitted publicly.
