Over the next month Web Services is planning on implementing the following enhancements:
- Image Library
- Email+ Foundation Unsubscribe Change
- Calendar Location change
- Calendar Sponsor change
Upcoming Enhancements
- Web Services will be adding a new service called the Image Library. This service will allow CCOs to create buckets for images. Some CCOs may create a single college image bucket or they might create one college bucket and several department buckets. CCOs can assign access to the buckets based on college, department or group permissions. If you have access to one or more buckets then inside our tools you will be able to select images in order to assign them to events, emails or posts. How do images get into a bucket? They can be uploaded into a bucket the first time when a person is creating content. All images put into buckets will be cropped automatically in order to provide a proper large and thumbnail images.
- In Email+ for Foundation unsubscribe reports we intend to let you know how many emails were sent to each unsubscriber in the last year. The hope is to see if there is a correlation between unsubscribing and the number of emails a person receives over a year. We will also be adding one or two survey questions after a person unsubscribes in order to track why people want to be excluded from emails.
- We will be adding new calendar event location fields to directly tie the location of an event to the campus maps or google maps.
- We will be modifying the event sponsor field to tie directly into college and departments or associate them with services or agencies found in the campus directory.
