Toolbox Unavailable in IE
The Toolbox is currently unavailable in Microsoft Internet Explorer. This is ONLY for people logging into the Toolbox. Anyone accessing blogs, calendars, forms, or anything created in the Toolbox can still use IE.
As part of the Toolbox migration to Amazon Web Services we are moving each Webtool to its own domain. This has created a cross domain authentication issue when using the Toolbox in IE. For the duration of the Webtools migration to Amazon Web Services the Toolbox will be unavailable in IE.
Our stats show that 8% of Toolbox users use IE, we apologize for this inconvenience. Chrome, Firefox, and Safari are working properly and available to use during the remainder of migration. The migration should be complete in a few months at which time the Toolbox will be available in IE again.
‘Remember my Choice’ setting in Shibboleth
There is a setting when logging into the Toolbox that we recommend. This will eliminate any subsequent logins when a Webtool with file uploading is encountered. Most Toolbox users already have this setting checked, but if you don't, please consider checking it next time.
