Webtools Forms and Surveys are very similar but with one important difference. Surveys are anonymous, forms are not. To help everyone choose and use the correct tool Web Services will restrict keywords from being used in form names beginning Mon, Feb 18, 2019. The following words could communicate an association with anonymity and will no longer be allowed in form names:
- Ballot
- Election
- Poll
- Referendum
- Survey
- Vote
- Voting
All forms that are currently using any of these keywords will continue to work until the form is stopped. At that time the form will need to be:
- copied to Webtools Surveys (by clicking a button), or renamed
- and update URL if copied to Surveys
