We are extremely pleased with the wide range of courses offered this semester. If you are in need of Core Area courses the following options are available:
- NRES 439: Environ & Sustainable Dev. from the Stewardship/Human Dimensions Core
- NRES 455: GIS for Nat Res Planning from the Spatial Analysis and Modeling Core (2nd 8 weeks)
- NRES 502: Research Methods and Design from the Statistics and Research Design Core
- NRES 511: Principles of Applied Ecology from the Ecosystem Science and Conservation Core
Consider adding NRES 500: Graduate Seminars Series to your agenda if you are in need of 500 level courses toward meeting graduation requirements.
We are also pleased to bring back a very popular course: NRES 474: Soil and Water Conservation. We will be offering a new online course NRES 490: Surface Water Systems Chemistry (course meets both Mon. and Weds. nights). (NOTE: For non-NRES courses review the information from that department on tuition rates which may vary significantly from the NRES tuition. Also, you may need to contact that department for permission to enroll in the non-NRES courses.)

If you are ready for your Capstone experience (NRES 501, NRES 503, or NRES 505) you should already have contacted the department for approval to register. You will receive confirmation of the approval and information on enrolling from the Registrar’s office soon.
