On November 15 join the University of Illinois and ILGISA in a celebration of GIS Day, the annual salute to geospatial technology and its power to transform and improve our lives. The event is FREE and includes workshops to provide GIS-related educational opportunities, lightning talk sessions to deliver GIS implementation strategies in the Illinois community, and a late afternoon career panel for students. Registration is free, but space is limited. Proposals for content and competition/exhibition entries are now being accepted.
