The Wild Things community is recognized as one of the largest networks of environmentally concerned people in the nation. They serve to educate others while protecting Chicago’s wilderness, natural parks, prairies, woods and wetlands.
The 2019 Wild Things Conference will be held in Rosemont, IL, February 23rd, at Stephens Conference Center. The NRES Department would like to encourage you to participate in this bi-annual event. We are putting out a call for students who would be interested in helping us at this event. Here’s how:
- Presentation - showcase your capstone work (current students and alumni). Limited number of proposals for individual presentations, so please let us know if you are interested.
- Panel – be part of a panel to showcase the depth and diversity of our students capstone interests and/or to discuss the MS online program
- Poster – create a scientific display for juried selection to the Poster session (we have a few examples, if this is of interest to you)
- Worker – help us attract new students by distributing printed materials about our program and answering questions at our exhibit table
- Get the word out! Whether you can attend, or not, help us spread the word about this great opportunity to collaborate with other like-minded environmental advocates AND help us to recruit others to our M.S. Online Program.
