Project Description: Our group is currently developing extremely high-throughput biosensors using opto-mechanical resonators. An undergraduate researcher is needed to help fabricate microresonators, to develop flow control apparatus, and perform Comsol simulations in relation to this project.

Successful candidate starts this summer 2017!
Requirements
- Ability to dedicate >20 hours per week in the summer
- Has basic coursework on fluid mechanics
- Preferably (not essential) with prior experience with CAD software (e.g. Solidworks) and finite element simulation (e.g. Comsol)
- Preferably (not essential), with experience with implementing control systems
- Preferably (not essential), with background in signal processing (transforms, filtering, coding)
- Preferably, interested in pursuing research through the 2017-18 school year
