Register by Thursday, March 15 to join OVP and iENGAGE on a one-day service and sightseeing trip to Indianapolis on Saturday, March 31st! In the morning you will be helping Keep Indianapolis Beautiful plant trees at Riverside Park. In the afternoon, there's time for sightseeing! Have a BBQ picnic. Tour the local zoo! All trip participants must attend the pre-trip meeting on Thursday, March 29 from 5:00 to 6:00pm in Illini Union. This meeting is mandatory.
Participants will depart from campus on Saturday, March 31st at 6:00 am (Indy is in a different time zone, so we lose an hour heading east), and return at 7:00 pm. The group will engage in service activities during the morning and will visit local landmarks during the afternoon.
The trip cost is $35, covering travel expenses, lunch, and trip activities. You are invited to bring spending money to purchase additional items on the trip such as souvenirs from the zoo's gift shop.
