The Career Center is collaborating with Parkland Community College and JC Penney to put on a fantastic event called Suit-Up for students on March 31, 2019 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the JC Penney located in the Market Place Shopping Center in Champaign, IL. This event will allow students and their families who attend to purchase select business professional attire and receive an additional 40% off ticket prices (including already marked down items). This discount applies to professional dress apparel, shoes, and some accessories and undergarments. Last Spring The Career Center saw over 450 unique students visiting the Career Closet https://www.careercenter.illinois.edu/service/career-closet in search of interview and new job attire. There will be optional transportation and check back to Handshake https://illinois.joinhandshake.com/login for updates.
