This year’s innovation in marketing award goes to The Alma Mater Conservation Team: Jim Lev, Melvyn Skvarla, Christa Deacy-Quinn, Joel Steinfeldt, Jennifer Hain Teper, Dee Dee Caneva, Steve Breitweiser, Anne Lukeman, Brian Stauffer, Todd Hearn and Andy Blacker.
This group of professionals took the Alma Conservation project and turned it into a marketing success. When the experts on campus determined that Alma was in urgent and dire need of conservation, they kicked into action. They made everything from her departure from campus and her absence at Commencement to her stay at the “spa” and her triumphant return to her pedestal at Wright and Green an event – something to follow to talk about and to celebrate.
