General Mills is one of the oldest scholarship partners at LER, and a strong partner in our recruiting process. Two dozen alumni are currently in the ranks of the human resources team at the organization.
Last summer, GMI hosted four HR interns from LER: Adrian Leos, Lauren Neiswender, Madeline Odle, Colleen Tesher. All will be joining the company to begin their careers after graduation. Adrian is pictured here, and holds a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining LER he held positions as a Senior Leasing Consultant at Starfish Development Group, Executive VP of Diversity for the Memorial Student Center Board of Directors, and Chairperson for the Fish Camp Extended Orientation Program.
Since 2018, GMI has hosted eight interns from LER. Here is an excerpt from their HR intern job posting:

General Mills is a long-time annual partner in the Scholarship Program, helping students realize their dream of an LER degree for many years, and helping us provide an amazing pipeline to HR careers in top organizations around the globe. Most recently, they awarded a scholarship to Paulina Marusarz in January, 2020. Paulina holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, and has HR internships with ABB and Six Flags.
Campus recruiting is currently lead by alumna RaeAnn Levang Meyer, MHRIR 09. RaeAnn has had a variety of roles with increasing responsibility since joining GMI in January 2010. She currently serves as Talent Director and Learning & Development Leader for North America Retail (eg. Marketing, Brand Building Services, and Sales) in Minneapolis. In 2019 she was the recipient of the LER First Decade Acheivment Award for extraordinary impact in their organization within their first 10 years of graduating.
