Polaris has been in the LER Scholarship Program for three years, and few partners make as many exciting products as this partner. Both on-road and off-road vehicles, snowmobiles, watercraft, commercial vehicles, and government/defense vehicles make up their portfolio.
A relatively new employer to LER, Polaris offers an amazing HR Development Program for graduates, allowing candidates to accelerate their career development, business knowledge, and leadership skills through three, 12-month long rigorous business rotations within the HR function. The program allows candidates exposure to corporate, operations and Center of Excellence Roles. Full information about the program is available at https://polaris.gr8people.com/jobs/4331/human-resources-development-program-2021.
LER alumna Ashley Donlon, MHRIR 10, has been with Polaris for over six years, after starting her career with General Mills. She is currently in Redondo Beach, CA, as a Human Resource Director, serving as an HR business partner for the sales channels at Transamerican Auto Parts (TAP) / 4 Wheel Parts. Her early career with Polaris has allowed her exposure to a number of parts of the buisiness, in multiple roles in Minnesota and Alabama in addition to her current role.
Polaris was named one of Forbes best large companies to work for in 2018. They have also increased their committment to women in what is historically a male-dominated field and joined the movement to celebrate and empower more women through powersports and partnered on the International Female Ride Day.
