LER congratulates faculty members Teresa Cardador and Ryan Lamare who were approved for promotions to Associate Professor by the Board of Trustees on May 15, 2017. This accomplishment demonstrates their promise as scholars and teachers, as well as their contriubtions to the University and professional communities.
Professor Cardador joined the LER faculty in August 2009. Her research focuses on how individuals make sense of, and experience meaningfulness in, the work that they do. She teaches several LER and Business classes, including LER 591 Employment Relations Systems and LER 567 Negotiations in HR Decisions.
Professor Lamare has been at LER since 2015 and teaches LER 565 HR Manangement and Strategy in both the on-campus and online master's programs. His research interests include the role of unions in politics, labor and employment arbitration, and employment relations and HR at multinational companies.
We are delighted that Professors Cardador and Lamare will continue to enrich LER's intellectual community and we look forward to their contributions to human resources and labor relations.
