Isabella Jackson and Maggie Jakimiec, who entered LER in spring 2018, were awarded May 2018 Bronze Tablet honors for their undergraduate scholarship. In order to receive this honor, students must have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point-average through the academic term prior to graduation, and rank in the top three percent of the students in their graduating class.
Both Bella and Maggie graduated one semester early with their bachelor's degrees, and came to LER through a family or networking connection. Maggie's sister, Jessica, MHRIR 18, graduated last spring and is employed by Land O Lakes. Her positive experience with the program encouraged Maggie to enroll at LER, where she completed a successful internship with PepsiCo this summer. She will be returning to them upon graduation.
Bella met Professor Michael LeRoy's son, Sam, who talked about the program and introduced her to his father. She visited, learned more, and knew that HR was the career for her. She completed an successful internship with Land O Lakes, and has accepted a full time offer from them upon graduation.
