Teresa Cardador, Associate Professor within the School of Labor & Employment Relations, received a grant of $299,998 over 3 years, from the National Science Foundation, Improving Undergraduate STEM Education Program. The longitudinal project titled “Gendered Elective Track Choice in Engineering Undergraduate Education: Antecedents and Career Path Implications” investigates the driving forces behind elective track choices for female engineering students, and examines elective tracks as an “upstream” predictor of gendered career paths in the engineering profession.
