Eaton Corporation has been a loyal scholarship partner for several years at LER, helping students realize their dream of a master's degree.
This summer, they hosted Cory Winestock as an intern, supporting Eaton's Fluid and Electrical Distribution Division. After a successful summer, he has accepted a full-time position in the company's HR Leadership Development Program. During the summers of 2018 and 2019, Eaton hired five interns per summer across their businesses.

Eaton's recruiting relationship with LER is very strong. Dan Treiber started his career after graduation in 2009 with Cooper Industries,which was aquired by Eaton Corporation in 2012. He is now a Vice President of Human Resources, serving as an HR leader for the $2B Commercial and Residential Distribution Solutions business, reporting to the division president. He leads an extended HR team of 40 people across 5 countries, 10 manufacturing locations and 16 smaller satellite operations. He's been very mobile since his graduation from the School, moving six times over the course of 11 years for eight different roles. He often represents Eaton at LER events, including the Scholarship Reception. He lives in Charlotte with his wife Kara, son Bodie, and golden retriever, Biggs.
Eaton has supported a number of activities at LER, including a philanthropic volunteer event during orientation, sending as many as 90 new students to the Salt and Light location in Urbana to assist with various activities at their store. They also regularly host Excel workshops, and this past August sponsored the annual case competition at orientation for new students.
