Student Spotlight: Itan Weng, MHRIR 2019
After completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Washington, Itan switched her career path to Human Resources, hoping to assist people in maximizing their potential in the workplace. After joining the MHRIR program in 2019, she built up her knowledge and experiences by becoming a student adviser, participated in the HR case competition at Ohio State University, and completed a HR specialist internship with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) in Taiwan over the summer.
Itan recently accepted an offer from DuPont’s HR RISE program and started her role as a HR specialist in DuPont Singapore to support employee matter projects in the ASEAN countries.
I’m excited for my new career, but what I miss the most about LER is my cohort. LER brings a group of people with different backgrounds together and teaches us to learn from each other. The strong alumni network we have will always been my support when moving forward in my career.
