The TACoS (Transdiagnostic Affective & Cognitive Systems) Study is seeking undergraduate research assistants to assist with our research study starting for this Summer semester. Our study seeks to understand emotion and behavior in adults with a history of substance abuse and/or aggression.
Research assistants will have the opportunity to assist with screening and scheduling eligible participants, code diagnostic interviews, and run participants in the lab. This study provides undergraduate students with unique opportunities to gain exposure to diagnostic clinical interviews, work with a clinical population, administer cognitive tasks, learn various aspects of EEG methodology (including capping participants). This opportunity may be especially useful for students interested in pursuing clinical psychology. PSYC 290 credit is available.
If you are interested in applying, please contact Michelle Naese (tacos-study@illinois.edu).
